From the late 1990s to the early 1990s, China's water purification industry developed rapidly, with pressure-welded stainless steel sanitary centrifugal pumps being adopted in electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, power, textiles, refrigeration, air conditioning, and drinking water industries. To this day, centrifugal pumps remain widely used in China's water purification industry.
Currently, industrial cleaning is widely used in the electronics industry for cleaning printed circuit boards. Various organic cleaning agents are often added to the cleaning solution, so the requirements for the cleaner are: no rust, high pressure, corrosion resistance, and low flow. Currently, China generally uses piston-type displacement pumps, but these are costly and difficult to maintain. Sanitary stainless steel centrifugal pumps meet the needs of the cleaning industry; while more expensive than piston pumps, their usage is increasing annually.
The service life of sanitary centrifugal pumps should be extended as much as possible:
1. Before installation and operation:
For centrifugal pumps that have not yet been installed, an appropriate rust-proof coating should be applied to the outer wall to prevent oxidation; for oil-lubricated bearings, an appropriate amount of oil should be added. However, selecting the grease requires special attention. For example, use a single type of grease, not a mixture, as using mixed grease can severely damage the machine's lifespan.
2. Suspension of service:
When using sanitary centrifugal pumps, due to special circumstances, production may need to be temporarily stopped, resulting in prolonged pump inactivity. Therefore, during storage, pay special attention to cleaning the medium inside the pump to ensure that no residue remains in the cavity, preventing spoilage and the resulting mixture. The centrifugal pump must be stored in a dry, clean environment; otherwise, corrosion may occur, and corrosive liquids may splash into the pump body.
Note: Improper storage can cause irreparable damage to the centrifugal pump, seriously impacting future applications. Please cherish and maintain sanitary centrifugal pumps to extend their service life.
