Horizontal axial flow pumps utilize the horizontal thrust generated along the pump axis by the rotation of the impeller, hence the name. They are mainly used in the evaporation, concentration, and cooling processes of industries such as diaphragm caustic soda, phosphoric acid, vacuum salt making, lactic acid, calcium lactate, alumina, titanium dioxide, calcium chloride, ammonium chloride, sodium chlorate, sugar making, molten salt, papermaking, and wastewater treatment, to enhance equipment production capacity and increase the heat transfer coefficient of heat exchangers for forced circulation, hence they can also be called axial flow evaporation circulation pumps.
1. Low speed, generally within 980r/min, meets the requirements of stable operation in crystallization processes.
2. Excellent hydraulic performance, efficiency >70%, wide high-efficiency zone, good cavitation resistance.
3. Considering that the flow direction of the pump medium is vertically downward and horizontally outward, and the huge impact of the water flow force on the pump shaft, a pump shaft jacket protection device is added inside the pump body. This transfers the plunging force of the medium to the pump body, ensuring stable pump operation and greatly reducing the impact of the medium on the mechanical seal force, thus extending the service life of the mechanical seal. This structural improvement represents a significant step forward in domestic products of the same type. In addition, the pump body adopts an integral casting with good rigidity, and the intermediate support structure is stably connected. The horizontal axial flow pump has no guide vanes.
4. The bearing box is a square, long-span, heavy-duty structure with good stability, strong load-bearing capacity, and reliable operation. Compared with similar domestic products, it is easy and precise to install (the original domestic bearing box was a split type). Radial short cylindrical bearings and heavy-duty paired bearings are used at the front and rear ends respectively. The bearings use NSK (SKF)
